Cosmosis

The leaves they fall
We disintegrate
Life and death
Wrapped up in a cake

Round and round
Spinning cycles go
Like your favorite shirt
Or a rodeo

Drops of rain
Shirts old and frayed
The earth gets wet
Feeds the soil like serenade

Just like those leaves before
And that box falls short
Into the universal my soul
Million mile teleport

To find that dead star
I follow that beautiful glow
But that star is gone
My eyes just didn't know

My body the shell of a book
My heartbeat's the pages
Conscious graduation
Solar radiation passing through my space station

This life's just a collection of phrases

My body a shell of the world
Set me free
Take my soul
Plant it like a seed
Spread me apart into everything
Always everything is me
